Everyone knows that if you want to lose fat, you need to change your diet for the better and workout. But what if you’re not seeing results when you do this? It’s easy to become skeptical fast and give up the whole thing. Plenty of people do every year. Well, as it turns out, a lot of little things you do every day could be sabotaging your efforts. Most of us spend the majority of our day sitting down, thanks in large part to desk jobs. Obviously, this does not help us lose weight, but this constant sedentary lifestyle can also downgrade our metabolism so much we have a tough time burning fat. So every 45 minutes, be sure you spend 10 to 15 standing up, walking around, stretching, etc.
Everyone’s diet needs carbohydrates, but most people eat way too many. These aren’t negligent calories either, as your body converts those carbs into fat in order to store them. So unless you’re a high caliber athlete, it’s best to consider the Paleo diet and leave whole grains and other forms of complex carbs out of your diet altogether.
Thanks to all our digital products, most of us have a number we’re glued to throughout the day. While this might be fun, it can also screw up our sleep which will in turn work against trying to lose weight. The closer you get to bed time, the more you need to disconnect from using these devices and staring at their bright screens.
