That said, here are 3 age-accelerating foods that you should clearly avoid:
#1: Alcohol
Without a doubt, a healthy liver will mean healthy skin. This is because the toxins that affect your skin are expelled naturally through the liver. However, if this isn’t the case, then these toxins won’t be broken down leaving your skin to develop a variety of problems such as acne, wrinkles and sallowness.
#2: Sweets
When you eat more sugar than your cells can handle, a process of glycation swings into motion. The extra sugar combines with protein cells to produce AGES known as advanced glycation end products. This by-product will damage the collagen in your skin. Worse still is the fact that too much sweet has the ability to damage your teeth as well. It is recommended to drink a glass of water after a sugar overload.
#3: White wine
Both red and white wine can cause dental damage. In particular, white wine can erode the enamel and make your teeth vulnerable to long-lasting stains. So, if you enjoy a bit of chardonnay every night, then you can be sure that your teeth are vulnerable to the coffee that you drink in the morning. For this, wait for an hour after you drink white wine and brush your teeth before going to bed.
